Samsung Unpacked Event August 2nd

Watching the big wig chat up the crown now. It's actually really cool. You really feel like you're sitting in on a meeting of a foreign company in South Korea. Very international :)

PS - Corny, awkward jokes and all..
 
3500 battery, 4gb ram. Haven't seen which processor, but guessing the same as the S7. Seriously, a smaller battery than the S7 edge?

They didn't speak at all about CPU type or RAM. They try so hard to pretend that customers don't wish to deal with such 'technical' details. Corporate foolishness (or hubris) will never, ever die, will it?
 
Well, like you, I was hoping for more and got a lot of fluff. I have no need for Knox or the fitness stuff. And now waiting two more weeks to get it in hand is a little disappointing! That's a 2-week head start on Apple that Sammy just flushed down the toilet.

That's what they do when they don't actually upgrade over an already 6 month old phone (S7). Basically we got a little bit bigger S7 with an S pen and a few software "goodies". And a smaller freaking battery.
 
yeah, i think i am going to sit this one out, my note 4 still serves my needs, it has taken a beating so maybe when this one comes out i can find some good deals on another note 4. come on 9/1/2017 let's see the Note 8
