A month ago, the Samsung S3 started to charge very slowly. After some experimenting, I replaced the OEM cable with a third-party cable and solve the problem. That's a high-quality third-party cable I bought from Amazon. I continued to use the OEM power adapter with the third-party cable.
After a month, that third-party cable stopped charging as well. So I've just replaced the cable, again. This time I also replaced the adapter. I have an intuition that the Samsung OEM adapter has been burning out my cables.
Does anyone else also have the same problem?
Two years ago, I used another Samsung phone, which also had a faulty adapter. I sent the adapter back to Samsung for a replacement. Apparently Samsung does not know how to make power adapters.
