Samsung just unveiled its new Gear S3 smartwatch duo at IFA, but that doesn't spell the end of sales for the Gear S2 line. The company has announced that all four watches and the Gear Fit 2 are core components of Samsung's wearable ecosystem and they'll continue to be sold.
The Gear S2 models will also receive an update by the end of the year that will bring all the new features showcased in the Gear S3 to the older hardware.
