Samsung Won't Register my Google Account

I have tried this over and over and over again.

I can sign in to my Google Account on my Mac and my previous phone.

On my Samsung, it tells me that my password and username do not match.
I have double, triple checked every time that I am entering the right password and username.

Once or twice it has said it couldn't communicate with Google Servers.

It must be the phone. Is there anything in particular I can do to get around it? Or should I just go exchange it?

You might want to take the phone to your carrier store or even contact Samsung about it. Considering you have checked multiple times it does sound like an issue with the device. Have you made sure it is in some way connected to the internet when you are trying to log in?

If so then yes I would definitely take it in somewhere.
