Help samsung

Hi there i have a samsung galaxy s3 and the status on the phone is modified and because it is modified I cant update my phone does anyone know how to un modify my phone thanks

(ASAP)

if you are rooted and on any firmware under 4.3 you should be able to use triangle away and reset the binary counter, also there is a way to change system modified to normal. YOU HAVE TO BE ON FIRMWARE LOWER THAN 4.3 for this to work.

4.1.2 will work with triangle away, you will be able to keep root and be able to download the ota update. Once you update you will lose root. What model S3 do you have??

You have to use triangle away whilst rooted, otherwise it won't work. So to achieve your aim you need to be rooted, then download the app either from the Play Store, as mentioned zfarishta, or download the .apk from the developers post at XDA and simply use a file manager (like ES its free) to install it by pressing on the file name - here is the link xda-developers - View Single Post - [2013.10.04][ROOT] TriangleAway v3.10.

Next, run the app and follow the instructions. Then download a stock TW ROM and flash it through Odin via your PC. After that you should have stock firmware with stock recovery and the phone status should be normal, i.e. unmodified/not custom. and it will be unrooted.
