Although Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 supports Quick Charge 3.0, Samsung has decided to limit the charging capabilities for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to just Quick Charge 2.0.
The reason for this is because Samsung wanted users with both the Snapdragon 820 and the Exynos processors to have an equal experience.
