Help San fran problem please help

So basically, my screen has become unresponsive on my san fran. Whether it is due to hardware or software, I frankly have no idea.

The phone was perfect up until a point, then with no trauma or anything, it just kept getting stuck on the lock screen. The power button would sometimes solve it, but not it seems stuck for good.

My questions are...Can I fix this? What would be the best upgrade/similar phone as I really loved this one. Can you still buy the 1st ones?

And also, as I can not access my phone because the screen is locked, is there anyway i can back up contacts, etc? And how do i access the ones already backed up with titanium? I may try a new rom as last resort before i abandon ship.

When you say getting stuck, is it just after you switch the phone on or does it boot normally and this happens when you've locked the screen or been using the phone for a while.

Your titanium stuff is stored on the SD Card, so that should be safe no matter what happens.
