I have discovered a bit of sand under the screen of my HTC Hero (ya, I'm an idiot and took it to the beach, today. Won't make the mistake again). I intend to disassemble it to get the debris out, but I have to order a torx screwdriver first. In the meantime, should I avoid putting pressure on the screen to avoid leaving scratches, or should I not be worried about scratches on the inside of the screen?
