Sandisk 64GB MicroSDXC vs Dropbox

Looking on other ppl's opinion on this issue. While I do like Dropbox I don't think it's worth 100$/year. The newest Sandisk 64gb microsdxc class 10 is 100$ and it comes with a lifetime warranty. This can be argued both ways but say you're in a remote area with no wifi or 3/4G or a solar storm hits affecting the earth's magnetic field (I could go on forever) but you get the point. 64GB permanent memory > Dropbox storage.

Any one of you fine gentlemen want to add more feel free to discuss

I have the free Dropbox and love it. It's nice because I can acess it from my home and work computer and my phone. With a disc, you can only use it where ever it is installed.
But I guess it comes down to what you are storing on it and how you use it.
