Hello Everyone,
I am new to the Android world. I just got a Sanyo Zio (free upgrade) from Sprint.
Previously, I had a Samsung Instinct and was able to tether the phone just fine, and used Sprint 3G through my laptop.
I have upgraded to Android 2.2, and have tried to download a few applications (such as PDANet) that allow me to tether my phone. However, every time the application tries to install on my phone i get an error that says "Package file is invalid".
Can anyone help me with this? I have not downloaded any other applications; this was the first thing I tried to install when I got it out of the box. When I have tried to download other applications after the tethering ones failed, I get the same message.
Thanks,
Kevin
