Sat Nav info for driving in spain

Going to spain for a week next month and would like to use the navigation or google maps for navigation.

New to the android apps (only got my desire last week). Just wanted to know what can be used abroad and what will be the cheapest (wont bother if expensive)

You will need an off-line navigation application since you won't be able to use data. There are several in the market at all different prices. There are quite a few threads about the best navigation apps, so you may want to search the forum for those.

There is no free beer and there are no free offline navigation apps that actually work . Personally, I favor navigon; pretty basic but it works like a charm. It's one of the more expensive choices though. I also tried copilot (lots of crashes and instability) and before I got navigon I bought sygic mobile maps (found it slooooow, I hate the non-conformant user interface and the navigation instructions sometimes are very weird).

Your best bet probably is navdroyd, I didn't check it out myself but at
