I have a lot of experience of SatNav on WM which may be relevant. Sygic is good - a new version 10 is imminent. Co Pilot Live is the opposite - cheap but support is awful and product is inferior. TomTom is good but on WM at least there is doubt about ongoing support - I would avoid it for that reason although it is probably the easiest to use.

have you tried google's own car home app? I've used it on my Droid and found it to be incredibly accurate and easy to use. That plus it is synced to google maps and you can navigate either on a map, or at street view. even if you navigate on a map (which I prefer), it shows you a street view image of your destination once you arrive, which I found extremely useful when visiting a place I've never been to before.
