"Save Image Failed "

I received an email this morning with two pictures attached on my Samsung Galaxy s6.

I opened the email and held my finger on one of the pics and it came up with options.

I pressed " save image "

And it said "Save Image Failed "

i have had no problem saving images sent to me by email before.

They appear in my gallery.

Anyone know why ?

Many Thanks Rob

In most cases your stock Gallery app location is where your images will be saved. So are you saying the image didn't show up in your stock Gallery app?

Try setting a new location for your photos, via SD card instead of phone memory. Also make sure your device has sufficient memory and clear your photo app cache while you're at it. Restart your phone and try again.

OK , How do I change it to SD card please

To change the default save location, follow thesteps below:
  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps > Camera.
  2. Touch Camera settings.
  3. Then, swipe to and touch Storage location.
  4. To change the default save location, select Device or Memory card.
