As far as I know, there is no way to save my ringtone and notification tone so they can be restored after a reset. Could this feature be provided?

What phone are you using?
You can save a ringtone and notification sound as a MP3, wav, ogg file and make a copy of it onto your external SD card or save it to your cloud storage.

I'm using a Galaxy S8+. Thank you for your response. It makes perfect sense and makes me realize I was confused. What I had seen before is that a wallpaper can be saved only after rooting the phone. My problem is solved!
