Save SMS to SD Card with "Verizon Messages"?

"Verizon Messages" with with Integrated Messaging Service advertises that it lets you save your text message conversations to the SD card. HOW DO YOU DO THAT?! It has saved some of my conversations as VZM files in internal memory, and I had to dig into internal memory to find it. Now I can't find my recent saved messages. Isn't there supposed to be a way to automate this?

I have Verizon Messages on my tablet. I just went back through it and all its Settings and did not find a way to save conversations to SD, either internal or external SD.

I would say that their description is not accurate on the abilities of their app. My suggestion would be to contact Verizon with the issue and maybe point this flaw out in an app review in the Google Play store.
