Saving email attachment that is jpeg

HTC Incredible 2 with Verizon. Recieved several JPG attachments from my Outlook email account. Pictures open fine but do not save to Download in Gallery. Tried long pressing the JPG when opened but nothing happened. The attachments show as DSC0089 and soforth. Size of attached JPG's are 4.1 mb.

Had this problem on Incedible 2 once. Click on Apps, then Settings, then Accounts & Sync, then the mail account you are receiving the Outlook mail from. When that mail account opens, select Account Settings, then General settings. In General settings make sure the Attachment cache is set to External storage. Hope that solves the problem.
