Saving images

Hi all

I have a Moto G7 play and want to save images directly from WhatsApp to my local storage.

The issue is is that my file manager app of choice (Astro File manager) doesn't show up on the list of apps to save to.

Is there any way of customising this list at all?

Unfortunately not. The app has to declare itself as able to handle the action, so only Astro's developers can do this.

However I'm sure it can copy stuff from the WhatsApp > Media folder (where WhatsApp saves things by default) to wherever you prefer to have them (note that I say copy rather than move: safer and won't mess up the WhatsApp conversation).
