Help Saving uTube videos on a Galaxy 10.1

No problem on my desktop using 'Real Player'.
Here I have been directed to use VLC, I have no success using it.
It would be great to be able to 'save' the videos on my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 (WiFi), to play later where there is no internet.
Anyone found a way to do this, and the software to do it with?

Thanks for the direction to 'TubeMate'. . I can even find the saved downloads in my file system, which I sometimes find difficult.

You're welcome. Lots of great stuff on YouTube. Old public domain movies, etc.
I probably have close to 400 I've downloaded. When they're on the Tablet, I watch them and decide if I want to keep them. If I do, I copy them to my computer and use BS Player on my tab to watch them. That way I can delete them from the tab to free up space.
