Help says already updated

hi Ive just installed nps 1.5 then connected my phone when i click to upgrade mobile phone it says latest version already installed.how can i update to android 2.1 please help me

Well I am thinking of doing this in the next few days. My only worry, apart from bricking my phone is voiding the warranty. What happens if it crashes after I upgrade to 2.1? I would love the upgrade but not sure if I should. Advice?

As far as I can make out, upgrading to 2.1 shouldn't void your warranty as its an official firmware, just not officially released everywhere. However routing is unofficial and will void warranty.
