Scanning documents by smartphone application

Hi,

For years I am scanning a lot of documents at home using my All-In-One scanning software (HP in my case). his process takes a lot of time and work.

Recently i became aware to the applications for Android and Ios that are doing the same thing.

I have downloaded to my Galaxy S3 the application CamScanner. I don';t have enough experience at the moment to tell any feedback about this application.

But, I was surprised to see how much fast I can scan a document, it is in the speed taking a picture with the phone camera.

My questions are:
1) Is it good as I scan with mu All-In-One scanner ?
2) Which is the best application for this purpose on Android ? I scan a lot of documents with several pages each.

Thank you,
Jack

Cam scanner is very good but it won't ever be as good as a flat bed scanner. Even a rubbish flat bed scanner will be able to scan to a much higher resolution then the camera on your phone, but you can't put your scanner in your pocket.

I created a new thread under Google sub topic...

Why create a new thread about the new scanning capability in Google Drive (an Android application) in the Google subforum of The Lounge when there's more than one thread about it in the Android Applications forum?

Well, it seems the OP got the answer he was looking for.

Anyway my question, I seem to have the scanner showing on my phone but not my tablet, which have the newest android, 4.1.1.
