Scrabble like game for both Android & BlackBerry?

words with friends is on apple and android...dunno about blackberry..just like scrabble.
 
WordWise is an Android Scrabble-like game. I Googled Wordwise and Blackberry and it seems to show it as available but then lists Android as a requirement! May be worth a look though.

Thanks, but wordwise isn't available for the blackberry. At least it's not showing up in the market.
 
Funnily enough I stumbled across a game called Wordsmith in the Android market about 10 minutes ago which also seems to appear in the Blackberry market. Says it's similar to Scrabble.

I happen to be at work and have access to blackberries right now. I don't see wordsmith coming up in the blackberry market. I can't seem to find any of the the same apps. :o(
 
I did a Google check on "Wordsmith for blackberry" and it shows up on all sorts of websites like "blackberrygames.info". HTH.
 
Has anyone had any luck finding anything that does work with both platforms? I'm an android user and my wife is stuck on blackberry, by choice.... she doesn't like touch screens. We would love to be able to challenge each other.

I'm sorry but i haven't heard of any scrabble apps that let you play cross-platform. There are plenty of websites where you can do this though. No problem challenging across PC-MAC-Android-iPhone-Blackberry, even Linux.
 
I haven't found anything yet. What I've been doing is playing Scrabble on my Android via the Official Hasbro Scrabble app and my fiancee is playing on Facebook which is the same system.
 
Too bad Wordfeud only works between IPhone/Ipad and Android users :mad:
Because I have the same problem that I want to play Wordfeud against my sister but she has a BBold.
So I started looking in the android market and typed Wordfeud, scrolled down and checked all the similar word games and asked my sister which of these was available in the BB store.

And we found ONE! :D

Fightin Words Free

It's by far not as user friendly as Wordfeud because it has regularly a server time out (can rely on location, wifi etc., has no chat function or notification and can only be played in English :( (I am Dutch)
But........the basic gameplay/competition element works! :)

Hope you can play against your wife now Crazy_J
