Help Scratch on the top, do I have any options ?

Ayhio

Newbie
I just scratched my brand new gs3 :( I left it in front of my TV and while I was picking it up, the top of the phone touched my TV's screen. Now there's a 2 mm black line on the top,I believe the paint in this area is removed.Do I have any solutions other than just getting a case to cover it up ? It's blue btw

It's always frustrating when our new toys get their first blemish. Unfortunately your best option is to learn to live with it and call it unique. :)

Lol,yeah.I was just asking if it could get painted somehow since it's just damaged paint.I guess I will just get a case to cover it up and to prevent further scratches.Got any recommendations for a good case that doesn't damage the coating ?

Just avoid the cases that have a sandpaper coating on the inside, or diamond chips. Also avoid the ones that have any knives or razor blades on the inside.

There is a LOOOONNNGGGG thread about cases on here, perhaps you might grab a cup of coffee and search for it. I have the Diztronic TPU case and I love it. So there is one recommendation. But the case thread will give you 50 others.

When I was young...

...and we had, at best, old and unreliable cars which were held together more by Fe2 O3 than metal, there was a vogue for go-faster stripes to cover the most obvious scars. Fierce red, orange and black were common colours - often in the form of lightning strikes.

If you get it right, you should be able to convince the naysayers that yours is a phone previously owned by Black Sabbath, David Bowie or James Burke. Respect will then be yours.

Just a thought.
