Help Screen and Digitizer Replaced

Hey Gents,
recently replaced my one xl's screen and digitizer and now have a 2cm thick section near the centre of the touch screen which isn't recognizing anything, it's a horizontal run, product defect or could one of my jaw-bone connectors possibly be loose?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

It could be either of those things. If you can without too much trouble, I'd recommend opening your device up and trying to unplug and plug back in all the connectors. That might help. If it doesn't, unfortunately, you probably have a defective screen and digitizer.
