Screen black on call

My TB2 times out to a black locked screen if I'm on a call longer then the 2 minute timeout I set for the phone. I then have to hit the power button to get the screen to wake up and show the call screen.
Cannot find any setting to keep the screen on when on a speakerphone call.
I tried Automateit using the proximity sensor. The setup was.....when on a call and the proximity sensor senses it as 'far' the keep screen on. That worked but created other issues so I had to disable that.

Any ideas? It's a real pain to have to hit the power button to get the screen back.

I don't think that there is a setting, but I would think that putting your hand over the prox sensor (to simulate bringing the phone up to your head) and then taking it away might light up the display. Or you can just tap the display every 30 seconds or so. Or you can go into the display timeout and set it as high as possible. (I think that in the developer options there is also a setting to have the display never time out.) Of course changing the timeout would affect when your phone is not in a call as well.

Maybe Thom knows of a good Tasker profile that could change the display timeout while in a call to the maximum and then change it back when the call is complete? (I'm not all that familiar with Tasker - I haven't used it for a long, long time.)

With Tasker you can set the timeout up to 24hours minus one second.

I have a profile that turns the screen off when the proximity sensor I covered unless the phone is on a call in which case it is left on.

I have another profile that toggles timeout between one minute and on e hour.

So ... you could have a profile that sets the timeout to one hour if you are on a call and when the call is over it reverts to whatever you had it previously set to.

Tasker.
