Help screen capture and notepad

Hi all,

I'm new to the whole android sceen and just rooted my samsung transform. Everyone from work were supplied with one so I thought I'd do things to the transform to make it easier for me. I'm just looking for 2 apps that work on the transform rooted or not.

1. a screen capture app

2. a notepad app

i've tried shootme, screen capture and shoot it

all of them didn't work or worked once and stopped.....and yes the phone is rooted

AK notepad is the one that caught my eye, and it seems to be working well for me.
