Screen capture for non rooted phones

Is there an app out there which allows screen captures for non rooted phones? I have the HTC incredible s if that helps at all?
I'm not willing to root my phone as I don't know much about it and its still new.

ShootMe may or may not work. Some people have success, others, don't. I'm not sure why, but without rooting it's worth a try.

Apparently it's only compatible with rooted devices thanks for the suggestion, are there any others?

I think his point was that some people are able to get it working without root, and that you should try it despite the fact that it says for rooted devices only.

I did try it, and it told me to "check my rooted device" or something along those lines

From windows you can use MyPhoneExplorer without root

i really want this too - it is the single thing i mis from my old iphone - cant understand why htc/android block this

....maybe in 2.3

I have a SGS2 (2.3) and i can press the home and power key to take a screenshot. It shows up in folder called screencapture in gallery..
