Help Screen capture no longer working

Hello, I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace and since the last firmware update through Kias (2.3.3) screen capture seems to have stopped working. I have googled it a few times but can't seem to find any information/help. There have been two 2.3.3 updates, the second one only seemed to add an O2 priority moments app.. My phone is not rooted.

Any ideas? Anyone else having the same problem? Hopefully when 2.3.5 comes out screen capture will work again, but for now any help would be great!

I know how to do screen capture, it isn't working anymore. As in, it used to, but now it doesn't!

I had same prob. On mine, it used to be back key/black button. Upgraded to 2.3.3 then stopped working... as in "stopped working"! Solution for ME was as previousy stated.

Ok on 2.3.3 try this press back key and hold it then press power key it will lock your screen, release both keys and from that momment dont press again the back key, to unlock screen press again power key and unlock your screen. Pick the app/screen you want to capture and press the home key aka middle key, with it you can capture as many you want, till you press the back key to take everything to normal state again.
It should work on 2.3.3 2.3.4. It dosent work on froyo 2.2.1 and on 2.3.5. On 2.3.5 home and power key takes screenshots.

Thanks Braxos, that didn't work for me unfortunately. But the black button & power button combo works.. (Much better than the back button/black button as it was previously.)

Are you sure you are not on 2.3.5?

Then try again this.

Hold back key pressed then just single click on power button. Screen boes black. From this point DONT PRESS BACK KEY ANYMORE, it quits ss capture. To unlock screen press again power key and give your code/drawing. press now nome button, if you havent pressed back key it should take a screen shot of your screen, multiple presses on home gives multiple ss. It did work on more then one 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 roms. Dosent work on 2.2.1and 2.3.5.
