Help Screen dust, SIM cards, repairs??

I've got a LOT of dust under the screen. Does anyone know if I can send it in for repair, then stick my SIM in a cheap prepaid phone while I wait?

I don't want it replaced, I've got it engraved. And I unfortunately don't have $530 available to be placed on hold..

And if anyone's done this already, whats the average turnaround time? (I hope its less than a couple weeks)

pretty sure that getting it replaced is not an option anyways for engraved phones. in any case, you're asking the wrong people. call HTC. explain the situation.

as for the sim card, if you have another phone, you can certainly put it in another phone. if you put it in a prepaid, it wont function as a prepaid. it will function with your account. call your service provider and have your account temporarily altered while your n1 is out.
