Screen Font App

I am having issues reading the fonts on my Droid Eris. I downloaded Spare Parts app and it didnt actually seem to change any of the fonts on my device except for the fonts in the Spare Parts app... Am I missing something or is there a better app free/paid

From I'm aware of Spare Parts is for rooted phones. I could be wrong though.

Is there a decent walk though then of how to root my phone

From what I've read there is nothing official, and the hack is still in the works. There may have been some breakthroughs but I'm not aware of them.

The only way, that I know of, to change your fonts would be to download an alternative home app. Then download a font pack and choose which font you want.
