Help Screen going crazy on tablet

I had a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 that had a bad charge port, so I replaced the port. Now, when the tablet is NOT on the charger, the screen goes crazy and starts doing things by itself. When it's plugged in, it's fine.

This seems to be the reverse from what I've found by searching...most people have this issue when their device is plugged in.

Any ideas?

I'm no expert, but if this happened when you replaced the port I'd say there is a good chance that has something to do with it. If you took it in to have the work done I'd take it back and have them have a look at it and be adamant that the problem started AFTER they touched it. If you did it yourself I'd say go back in and review your work. Screens can be very tricky and sensitive for sure.
