Screen hyper sensitive

Had a strange occurrence with my N7 last night, one that I haven't seen in any capacitive device I've owned (and that's quite a lot!). While browsing in chrome, the screen went "crazy" changing from link to link. I played around a bit and found that the lower left corner of the screen had become hyper sensitive. I was able to activate anything in that area from ~1 inch above the screen. My hand holding the tablet and not coming near to touching the screen was activating all sorts of things. A power cycle resolved the issue. Thought I'd leave this here for anyone else finding this "hidden no touch feature".

That's a very strange occurrence, as you said yourself.
Who knows, this might be an indication for some sort of manufacturing defect with your digitizer, possibly compromising your screen's stability.
