Screen lock ONLY with power button?

I'm asking this here because there is nothing wrong with my phone and because I'm on Verizon. Please move it if it doesn't belong here.

Are there any phones they VZW offers that offer the screen to lock ONLY when I press the power button and not a time delay WITHOUT rooting?

My S4 frustrates me when it locks at a maximum of 30 minutes after I don't use it. Anything other than swipe to unlock is a terrible inconvenience but then I have no security. When I'm driving and listening music I don't want to unlock it again in my car windshield mount. This has frustrated me for a very long time. Does Motorola or HTC anyone else make phones with this option without rooting?

You mean never lock unless you press the power button? (Because that question could also mean just lock when you press the power button, don't do anything else.)

You can set it to never turn the screen off if it's plugged in ("Stay awake" in Developer options), and plug it in when you're in the car. Also set it to lock when you press the power button. In the car it will stay on indefinitely. When you pull it out of the mount, hit the power button and it's locked.

Or you could use No Screen Off to make the screen never turn off. It will still lock when you press the power button (if you have it set to).

Either way will do it.

That will work but charging is much slower with the screen on. I want it so I can't accidentally touch anything on the screen but it doesn't lock either. I want the screen to go dark but not lock unless I press the power button.
