Screen Locks during calls

Cracked the screen of my Pixel XL. Directly under the top speaker. Phone is still usable entirely, but I believe that the proximity sensor is now either damaged or confused due to the crack in the screen. Almost every time I get a call the screen goes black, and the phone becomes unusable. Most of the time I have to restart the phone. I've tried third party apps to disable the sensor, and can't seem to find the option in settings. Any help would be appreciated.

Of course replacing the screen is an option. Just wanted to see if anyone knew a software fix until I can get around to it.
