Does Screen mirroring only work on Wi-Fi? If I set my Fire TV 2 to wireless then my Samsung S4 is found and it works, but when hardwire it does not. Both are on the same network.

Sideload the trial to your firestick, it worked great for me but now I directly stream 1080p from Kodi.
This is pointless if you're trying to use SVP for better video playback. Mirroring requires that your computer's output is encoded and played back from another video player on the Fire stick, which is technically worse than using direct playback.
