how do i screen mirror my gakaxy s10+ to my firestick witjout downloading a shitty app from the appstore
 
From what I remember first on the Firestick connect to wifi then go to menu > settings > Display > Enable mirroring. Then on your phone swipe down for the menu so you can see all of the selections and select smart view, this should force it to scan for a device and select the Firestick. The nice thing about the Firestick is after you pair it the first time you will no longer need wifi to mirror. A co-worker has an RV and they do a lot of camping during the summer and the daughter wanted to watch Netflix on a larger screen at night so I gave her my old Firestick with instructions and it worked perfectly. The only limitation is cell signal strength if you are going to be streaming content like Netflix.
