screen not coming on

hi, i have an htc evo 3d virgin mobile phone and i am having some issues with it. like when i try to turn it on the screen is black. the bottom buttons still light up. help?

So the screen stays black and the keys light up and it sounds like it boots up? Does it ring if you call it?

It sounds like your display malfunctioned.
