Help Screen only dims while charging or plugged in by USB

I thought i seen some option to have it never lock while plugged in but i may be mistaken.

Could anyone help me out here?

I would like the phone to auto lock while charging just like it auto locks normally.

settings> applications> development> stay awake!
screen will never sleep while charging.

I would like it to sleep while charging. Atm the screen only dims, and I do not have to put a password or pattern in to the phone again. I want the phone to auto lock while charging.

I was confused some apps wont allow it to sleep/lock

I would check to see if any of these are running. Mine autolocks while charging automatically but I dont use the handsign or password to unlock or lock i just use the factory lock.
