Help Screen problems!

So, I have a really annoying issue with my Mesmerize. I've had it since June, its great most of the time.. But then the problems come.. A lot of times when I go to turn my screen on, it doesn't. It usually takes several tries to get it on. The most annoying thing is, it's actually working, but the screen just doesn't turn on. I can tell the power button isn't broken because when i press the guide buttons on the bottom, they still light up as if I were using it. Again, sometimes it takes 3 tries to get it on, other times it takes about 30 tries. Also, if I try to restart the phone completely by taking out the battery, it does the same thing. The music plays when booted, but screen doesn't light up, although the buttons do. The only way I have figured out how to get it back on the fastest is by taking out the SD card then it usually works.. Does this mean I could have a virus?

Other times when I do turn the screen on, the image is all messed up. Whether it be the screen is upside down, or the colors of the screen are all inverted and different colors... I don't know..

Any help or anyone experience this?

I have found that with different apps from the android market, plays a factor with how the phone runs. Every time I download an app, my phone can act up and I have to get rid off the the newest app. But... I also have issues with the reaction time of the touch screen, at times. I have done numerous factory resets, and the phone does good for a while, but, the glitches slowly creep back. .if it's really bad,a phone replacement could help. I am on my fourth replacement, and I still have issues. I'm going to change to the motorola electrify next week,I can't wait!
