Help screen rotate

My screen won't rotate into portrait anymore. I can't remember changing any settings. I can't seem to find the control for the rotation feature. Can someone help with that?

Does your notification has the Rotation toggle button?
Check whether it is activated.
If the button is not there, you can get it by adding it from the:
Settings - Display - Notification Panel.
Also, in the same Display menu, you will find "Auto-rotate Screen" check box. Make sure is selected.

Do you have any launchers? Some launchers have the option to lock or unlock rotation, so do other apps.

You may also try to test your accelerometer. Open the phone Keypad, and type *#0*# proceed to "Sensor". Right at the top, there is a small button in the right hand corner; "image test". Rotate the phone and see whether the image will rotate. It might take few seconds.

If it doesn't, there is a chance your accelerometer could be faulty.

Or simply try to play some game, perhaps Temple Run, to check whether the accelerometer works properly.
