I just downloaded the Oreo Colorizer app:

The app works great and it definitely adds some pop to the screen if the less saturated colors weren't for you. To me it makes a big difference in the overall enjoyment of the device. FYI...I have not encountered any performance issues as the above article implies. Good luck!
