Screen Sensitivity Issue

Tim102

Newbie
I purchased the Galaxy S6 last November as an upgrade for my 3 year old S4 I love the S6 however I've noticed that compared to the previous model the screen does not seen as sensitive, particularly when scrolling down pages. I really have to push hard on the screen using my thumb to move the page down when scrolling through websites etc

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a setting I can change to make the screen more sensitive or if it is a fault with the handset is there a fix due anytime soon??

Thanks

Any screen overlay apps? Try this - reboot into safe mode (Press and hold power button for a few seconds until it prompts you to turn off your phone. Next, tap and hold Power off for a few seconds until your phone asks you to confirm that you want to enter safe mode. Tap OK, and your phone will restart into safe mode.)

This will disable all 3rd party apps. See if the problem persists. If it doesn't, then you will need to try to figure out which app you downloaded is causing that.

Edit: screen overlay (not overlap)

No, no overlap apps like that. Thanks, I'll try your suggestion. Have you experienced this problem?

I had this issue once - but that was because of a screen protector - I removed that and the problem hasn't happened since then.

(typo - I meant screen overlay apps - not overlap)
