Help Screen separating from Kevlar back?

My phone tends to creek and pop in the upper right corner when I am holding it to my ear. Is this normal?

There appears to be a gap ~0.005" between the screen and Kevlar back on the upper right hand side. The gap is not present on the upper left hand side.

Is anyone else seeing this same thing? I am worried that it is going to get worse, not to mention that the creeking and popping is really annoying in my ear.

Thanks in advance.

I've tested about 8 MAXX's and all but 2 had the gap and creaking Kevlar. If you're within 14 days, take it back and they'll give you a brand new one. If not, you'll get a certified like new phone, which at this point should be new as well.

Out of the 8 tested; did you find that the separation and popping developed over time or could you immediately tell out of the box? Just want to know what I'm looking for when they hand me a new one...

Thanks

4 were ones I tested and 3 were sent back and the other 4 were live displays. Of the 4 I got, only the one I'm using now is free of the Kevlar "popping" noise when pressed. All of the display models except one had pops as well. Given how rigid the Kevlar is and that the one I have is still solid I think your first impression of the replacement will tell you a lot.

My maxx used to do the creaking. The gap is there but I'm used to it. I've looked at 4 other phones at two different stores and those were worse than mine.
