screen time out

my rzor maxx screen stopped turning off automatically and when I turn it off manually it will turn back on again on its own. How do I fix this?
 
I don't have the RAZR MAXX myself, but, I'm betting if you go to SETTINGS > DISPLAY > you'll find a screen time-out setting that'll allow for a different setting othwr than AUTOMATIC.

Most phones have 30 seconds/1 minute/2minute/5minute/10 minute settings.

If not, a search in the GOOGLE PLAY STORE for a screen time-out app should provide a solution. Most have a free & paid/PRO version, w/the only difference (in a lot of instances) the free app is advertising supported, the PRO version(s) generally remove ads, if this is a concern for you.
