Help Screen Won't Turn On

I've been having a problem lately with the screen not turning on after I hit the home button or power button to wake it up. The screen stays black. Sometimes it's only for a few seconds and sometimes it takes a few minutes to turn on. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know what may be causing this or how to fix it? Any help would be great. Thanks.

It's under warranty. Have it replaced. The reason it's acting that way is of only academic interest to a few people (like engineers at Samsung).
