is there an app that works that can take a screenshot of whats on your phone? kinda like the iphone does? i have seen the shootme app saying it works without root but not as well. Just wonderin if there is something else out there or if this is the only option for non rooted phones?

You need root for everything I have seen ... if shootme works without root thats probably your best bet
