Screenshot app that actually works

I'm looking for one that really does take screenshots, shows them, shows how to use itself, and doesn't have a bunch of annoying ads and/or intrusive permissions. Smart Touch and Screenshot Easy are apparently not it. If I can't use the off button on the right side of the S5, then I need something else for screenshots. What I've been doing for maybe a day is taking photos of the "old" phone's screen with the "new" one's camera. That doesn't work very well

I don't know if there are any really genuine honest third-party screen-shot apps these days, well ones that aren't nasty spyware and/or adware. Because taking screen-shots is built into the system, and on many devices can be activated with gestures{S5 I don't know), in addition to pushing buttons.

After trying a couple of others, including smart touch, and hating all the ads, I've settled on Screen Master, at least for now. They do have some ads but they seem to be all in one place, a cute li'l present bouncing with excitement, just waiting for someone to open it. It's pretty easy to operate, with a fake camera aperture over to the side, and some other ways to make it work. I guess its permissions aren't too bad, just storage? Unfortunately it appears not to save screenshots directly to google photos, and when I tried using My Files to upload them, I couldn't find a way to do that. I figured it would have share or maybe a way to copy them, but it apparently doesn't. Maybe X-plore would have an answer. The screenshots are on the S5's sd card.

I noticed that Screen Master has the ability to edit screenshots right when they're taken. Is there any way to do that later? Does it work on only its own screenshots or can iit be used with others that were taken the regular way?
