Not liking the fact screenshots are saving as .jpg. Anyway to get .png as I prefer for these?

I think by default the Android system saves as a jpg.

It didn't. It used to be .png.
Thanks for the conversion suggestion but it doesn't help. If it has saved as a .jpg it has already been through a lossy compression. Point was precisely to avoid that.
