Screenshot Without SDK & Root

All I keep seeing is people asking for an app that allow screenshots without root. The only solution all have given is installing sdk which is a pain in the bum to do. I have another mini-solution until such an app is developed.

Both Open Home and Home++ have this feature built in. Only negative to it is, you won't be able to take a screenshot of your HTC Sense UI home screen or Android stock home screen only the open home or home++ screen.

But for many who are like me and could not run the SDK correctly, this works just fine :)
 
But can you only do screenshots of the home screen? I would quite like to take screenshots elsewhere (in apps/games/etc).
 
my problem with sdk is I can't get out to recognize my cell for some reason.I put my cell on debugging mode and follow the installation instructions to a t. Unfortunately it won't recognize my phone no matter what I do. Maybe it's because I have windows 7? Idk....

As for only home screen....unfortunately out only seems to take sensors only of your home screens (any of the 7) unless someone else knows of a way to take the app screen as well....
 
SDK was easy for me but I, along with many others, would prefer to have that ability on the go. Not just when you're attached to your PC. Is it really that difficult? I see Blackberry and iPhone owners doing it all the time.
 
The xScope web browser has includes a very cool feature allowing you to take a screenshot of the app and automatically share it with someone in a variety of ways.

So it must not be that hard for a developer to do ... if someone gets on it, it could be their ticket to fame and fortune! ;)
