how many kind of taking a screenshot ?. what can i do to take a screenshot ?. i tried some kind of them but unsuccessful. please help me. thanks to everyone

What Android version do you have?

On Android 4.x, you should be able to capture a screenshot by pressing Volume-Down and Power button simultaneously. :thumbup:

HTC also use "power and home" combination :-

Press and hold the power button and tap the home button.


So if you have an HTC try it.

In fact power/volume down combo doesn't work on my HTC One, but power/home does. There is also a dedicated screenshot button on the two finger drop down menu.

Being rooted, all roms that i have flashed, you could take a screenshot from the power menu or a widget on the pull down notification screen.
