Screenshots are uploaded to Google photos! How can I fix it?

Screenshots are uploaded to Google photos! How can I fix it? There is no option to take it off when looking for device folders in Google photos.

For some reason screenshots are regarded as camera folder

Open Google Photos and then go to:
  • Back up & sync
  • Back up device folders
  • Toggle folders on and off
There SHOULD be an option for screenshots there... if not then you've probably got 2 problems.

As I started there isn't any option for that. Both camera photos and screenshots are showed together

Ok, on my phone if I open Photos, bring up the sidebar and tap "device folders" I see a set of folders which includes a "screenshots" folder. If I select a folder there is a button for "backup and sync".

So the problem seems to be that your phone is adding screenshots to the camera folder rather than a separate folder like most do. From a little research this seems to be a recent Samsung thing. I don't think there's an option to change this, but there are a couple of suggestions in this XDA thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/how-to-change-screenshot-save-location-t3594159

yes because your screenshots folder is in the "Camera" folder, they will be uploaded since they are inside the camera folder, and google photos automatically uploads the camera folder.

You need to add a .nomedia file into that Screenshots folder. When a .nomedia file is located in a folder, the contents in that folder is excluded from the scans apps like Gallery or Google Photos run to auto-detect new images.
Samsung includes a basic file manager app in its devices so you should already have one. Look for the 'My Files' app in the Apps menu. Start it up and be sure to go into the app's Settings menu and enable the 'Show hidden files' option (and any other options that you might find useful). The hidden files option is needed as you'll be working with that .nomedia file -- the period is a necessary aspect. Using 'My Files' you can either copy an existing .nomedia file or create one inside that Screenshots folder.
Try copying the .nomedia file residing inside:
/storage/emulated/0/Android/data
and copy it into
/storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Screenshots
(Keep in mind that 'My Files' isn't going to give you complete access to all the directories in your Note 8 as most are protected by system-level permission restrictions, so something like copying around a ,nomedia file is allowable into a folder like Screenshots but not any place you might choose.)
